Spinach Egg Cake


DESCRIPTION

Incorporating some spinach into your egg cake is a great way to get some extra fiber and greens into your system. I promise even people who don't like eating vegetables will like this egg cake! With only two common ingredients you can make this delicious dish in only 3 minutes!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 eggs
  • A handful of spinach

SPICES

  • 4g salt
  • 4g garlic powder 
  • 2g oregano or any dried herbs of your choice
  • 1-3g chilli flakes (optional)

    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. In a medium-sized bowl, add in eggs, spinach, and all the spices.
    2. Mix all ingredients until well-combined.
    3. In a small or medium-sized frying pan, heat up some oil on medium heat.
    4. Pour in the mixture and fry for 60-90 seconds, then flip.
    5. Fry the other side for around 3 seconds or until golden in color.
    6. Cut egg cake into 8 smaller pieces, and serve.
    7. Enjoy!

    NOTES

    • If finding flipping the egg cake challenging, an easier way to do it is to slide it to a plate first, then using the plate to flip the egg cake.
