Lazy Breakfast Idea: Apple Combo (Apple Yogurt + Toast)

Got no time in the morning but still want to start the day right? Try this super easy and quick apple combo breakfast recipe! Tangy apple chunks mixed with sweet granola and vanilla greek yogurt served with crispy and flavorful apple toast, this recipe is perfect for apple lovers and people who want to try out different breakfast options. It has been my personal favorite recently; hope you will like it too!


INGREDIENTS
  • 2 small apples (or 1 big apple)
  • A handful of granola
  • 2-3 tbsp vanilla greek yogurt
  • 1 slice bread of your choice
  • Peanut butter
  • A sprinkle of chia seeds





INSTRUCTIONS

Apple Yogurt: for steps please refer to GRANOLA APPLE YOGURT

Apple Toast:
  1. Cut 1 small apple or 1/2 of a big apple into slices.
  2. Toast bread.
  3. Spread peanut butter evenly on toast.
  4. Evenly place apple slices on peanut butter.
  5. Sprinkle some chia seeds on top.
  6. Enjoy!


NOTES
  • To the yogurt, you can also add any other fruits that you like.
  • The apple toast is a great alternative for traditional banana peanut butter toast. I highly recommend it. But of course, you can also try different fruits with it.
  • For vegan version of this combo, simply substitute yogurt with coconut yogurt or any kind of non-dairy yogurt.
